“I vote to honor those lives lost, and my elders who were denied the right to vote. I vote to assure a better life for my grand-nieces, grand-nephews and the younger generations.”

“I vote because I believe in the power of voting. I grew up during the 1960’s Civil Rights movement, which was the fight for equal housing, education, jobs, health care and the right to vote. I am inspired by the progress made, and saddened by the many lives tragically lost in that struggle.
