Maria Fernanda Pulido-Velosa
Maria is a BQE EJ Coalition Community Organizer at El Puente.
She was born and raised in the Andes mountains of Colombia, and is rooted in her relationship with land and her ancestors as land care-givers.
It is that love for the wellbeing of land, families and communities what drives her work with the BQE EJ Coalition —as an opportunity to organize with people all over the city transform harmful infrastructure into a corridor that nurtures our health, and connects us back to each other and to the land we inhabit.
