Mia Diawara

Mia is a climate tech advisor and strategy consultant who helps funders and organizations build investment and philanthropic strategies in pursuit of a more sustainable, regenerative, and equitable world. Mia was formerly a Partner at Lowercabon Capital, where she invested in and advised early stage climate technology companies. An artist at heart, she’s on the board of Robert Moses' Kin dance company and performs with SF BATCO

I believe that how we get to “net zero greenhouse gas emissions” matters just as much as getting there at all. The transition must correct—not exacerbate—structural inequities and ensure climate “solutions” serve all populations and ecosystems. Artists and storytellers play a critical role in amplifying marginalized perspectives and helping us all envision a more just and equitable future.
