Neighborhood Housing Services of Queens CDC / Queens Energy Hub

Neighborhood Housing Services of Queens CDC (NHSQ) is a HUD-certified non-profit counseling agency with over 28 years of housing and advisory services for local residents of Queens. NHS of Queens’ mission is to preserve and revitalize underserved neighborhoods in Queens. Working in collaboration with government and businesses, they are led by local residents and guided by local needs.

NHS of Queens is one of the NYSERDA Clean Energy Hubs and provides 1-1 counseling to individuals, small businesses, and affordable housing owners about the benefits of the clean energy economy, ways to reduce energy use and costs, and how to make more informed energy decisions. Support includes:

• Helping you fill out an application for a free home-energy assessment

• Showing what types of energy incentives a person or business may qualify for

• Helping find a qualified contractor to perform clean energy upgrades
