Remember Y(our) Connection: envisioning beauty and building compassion

Remember Y(our) Connection is a 2024 Street Work Earth participant, is a public participatory art project that aims to cultivate relationships through dialogue and conversation about shared struggles and indigenous wisdom; hold our deep understanding of interconnection on multiple levels: within ourselves, with each other, and all-encompassing; and illuminate pathways for everyday people to work together toward a world where everyone has a chance to live well.

As a 2024 participant, join the Remember Y(our) Connection project team to create Mushroom Power! Engage in a creative thought exercise inspired by the power of mushrooms. Over the day, witness mushrooms fruit on a log as community members envision more beauty and compassion in our world!

Did you know that mushrooms, like turkey tails and oysters, are great at cleaning our environment of human-made toxins?

What makes you feel worried? Imagine mushrooms could clean up these troubles! Without these woes to weigh you down, what could you do to care for others?

People ages 5 and up are welcome to participate (young people accompanied by an adult).
